Chasing Charity: A Lion's Quest

WE WANT THE LION!

PSU Colorado is hosting a charity event to support THON and we need your help!

EVENT OVERVIEW:
Everyone who participants will need to register by signing up on this event and making an initial "donation" of $25, which will go towards THON. Bring an additional $10 in cash to go into a communal pot.  We will then draw straws and the short straw will put on a Nittany Lion costume, grab some of the money, and will head out into a pre-arranged area downtown and pick a bar. The rest of the attendees will split into teams and go on a quest to find the Lion. If your team finds the Lion, you get to hang out with them at the bar, using the initial pot of money as an open tab. If the Lion isn’t at one of the bar you choose, you must down a drink and head to the next bar. Last team to find the Lion buys everyone a round.

DETAILS:

1. Register yourself (or your "team") on this site. $25 per person (for THON).
2. Bring $10 in cash for the "pot".
3. Being this is a charity event to support THON, you can make an additional donations when you register, or in-person during the event. 
4. On February 18th, head to the Larimer Beer Hall at 3pm. 
5. Don't forget to dress up in your Penn State gear - the more festive the better!

CAN'T ATTEND BUT WANT TO DONATE TO THON?

If you are unable to attend the event but want to donate to THON, please register for the event and select the option that states you are not attending, just donating.

THON™ is a student-run philanthropy committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer. Our mission is to provide emotional and financial support, spread awareness, and ensure funding for critical research—all in pursuit of a cure.

We encourage you to be safe and utilize public transportation for this event or stay downtown. We do not recommend scooters.
