We are back to doing our annual hike up the Manitou Incline in Colorado Springs! In the past, we've been featured in the Penn Stater Magazine (see below) for braving the Manitou Incline ascent so you don't want to miss it! As usual, we will ascend the Incline then convene afterwards at the Manitou Brewery to recover. 

To anyone new to Colorado or anyone who has never - but always wanted to - tackle the Manitou Incline, this hike is definitely worth the effort for the view. Please come prepared for a relatively strenuous hike with plenty of water and appropriate hiking gear (appropriate shoes are a must). The ascent is a mile straight up a 2,000 foot elevation gain. Once at the top, we'll regroup and then descend down the Barr Trail to the base. We will meet afterwards (around 11am) at the Manitou Brewery to celebrate our accomplishment and have some great food and drinks.

The Incline is now requiring reservations and we have reserved 20 spots at 7:00 am on May 21st. By registering on our website (this event), you can lock in your spot (there is no cost). If we get more than 20 RSVPs, we will request more, but get your spot(s) locked up now as we cannot guarantee additional spots will be available! 

*Wear your PSU gear & meet at the base of the Incline by 6:45am so we can beat the heat and start the ascent by 7:00 am! Plan accordingly to park, as there is rarely enough parking at the base. You may need to park in Manitou and either take the bus up or walk up to the trailhead.
