Blood Drive Challenge

Unique times call for exceptional action. 

As Colorado begins to slowly re-open, the need for blood (and plasma and platelet) donations has never been greater. In an effort to help our local communities, Penn State Colorado has challenged the Colorado Spartans in a blood donation competition to support the Vitalant blood bank centers. These are very unique times and we are asking for you to take action. 

The challenge will take place during the entire the month of June. Here's how it works...

CHALLENGE PLAYBOOK:

1) Review your eligibility at vitalant.org

2) Find your donation center at vitalant.org or 303.363.2300

3) Complete Fast Track the day of your donation at vitalant.org/health.

4) Wear a mask or face-covering to your donation.

5) Score one for the team and donate blood. You can also donate plasma or platelets if you have already given blood in the past 112 days.

6) IMPORTANT: Record your donation for your team
