PSU Colorado Hiking Club - Lookout Mountain in Golden

Please join us for a hike from Golden, CO lasting about an hour and half, 2.5 miles roundtrip with about 675 feet of vertical ascent and descent. This route will go up the side of Lookout Mountain to the Lookout Mountain Nature Center and Preserve and Botcher Mansion.

We will start around 9:00am and meet at the Windy Saddle parking lot at the trailhead. 

To the trail head from Denver: 6 West to 19th Street: turn left. Bear left onto Lookout Mountain Road and follow the twists and turns for about 3 miles. The parking lot at Windy Saddle will be on the right hand side... trail head is right there.

After hiking, we'll venture into Golden and head to Golden City Brewery for some drinks and food to refresh. 

Golden City Brewery is located at 912 1/2 12th Street and opens at 11:30 AM. The brewery has a limited food menu, but there will be a food truck there.
